About ACARES

ACARES holds a club meeting once a month at Roscoe Turner Alcorn County Airport. The time is at 9:00 AM on the first Saturday of every month. Anyone who is currently a ham or is interested in becoming a licensed ham operator is invited to attend. The meeting last about an hour, and many times demonstrations are performed on different aspects of ham radio. The club repeater is the WB5CON repeater on 146.925 - offset and a 107.2hz tone.
