Welcome to the KI5WI amateur radio home page! While there are a lot of other sites on the Web that contain information about Ham Radio, few of them originate from North Mississippi. Ham Radio is a hobby, and as such, is intended to be something we do "for the fun of it." The purpose of this site is to provide amateur radio news of local interest, as well as to provide some links to other sites of note. But mostly, I want to enhance your enjoyment of one of the greatest hobbies a person can have...Amateur Radio!

The 147.150(+) repeater in Booneville is operational, and we need your help to keep this machine warm! This is an open repeater, and it's here for your enjoyment. It has a range of about 50-60 miles from Booneville.
