Click on the "Windows 95 thru XP Box" to the left and download the Easy Setup Files!

Windows 95 / 98 / ME / 2000 / XP - If you save the file to your hard drive you will need to double click on the file to run the Easy Installation Program.  If you would like to make a floppy disk for any future installs, simply copy the file to a floppy disk and run it from there. Once the file is downloaded and you either double click on the file on your hard drive or on a floppy disk, it will automatically run and install with just a few simple questions to answer.

To run from a floppy drive or from your hard drive:

1. Click on the "START" button.
2. Click on "RUN".
3. Type "A:AVS" to run from your floppy disk drive or browse to the location where you downloaded the file to your hard drive, usually on your desktop or under my documents, select the file and press "ENTER".  It will take a few seconds to run from a floppy, but very fast if you are running from your hard drive.
4. Wait a moment for the program to load then pick a Network, State & City that is nearest to you that is a local call for you to call. Usually everyone is on the AVS1 Network unless you have been told to use a different Network number. As a rule of thumb, everyone in Alcorn & Tishomingo counties will use the AVS1 network.  If in doubt, just give us a call.
5. Once you have selected the City that is nearest to you, click OK at the bottom.
6. Enter the proper information for your name, username and password. If you do not have call waiting or you do not want to disable call waiting while you are on the internet, then click OK and the setup program will setup you computer for the internet.
7. That is all there is to setting up your computer for AVS Internet. If you have any problems at all, please give AVS Tech Support a call at 286-6353 in Corinth, MS or 1-888-286-6353 Toll Free for the rest of the US.
8. Double click on the NEW AVS Internet icon on your desktop to dialup. Once connected, double-click on the "INTERNET EXPLORER" and your ready to start surfing the web.  Congratulations!
