Jobe, Kate Chambers

Mrs. Kate Chambers Jobe, 79, wife of J.G. Jobe, died Thursday at Magnolia Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Coleman Funeral Home with burial in Indian Springs Cemetery near here. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Tessie Richardson of Ripley.

Jobe, Sam

Corinth, Jan. 21, - (Special) - Sam Jobe died Friday night at his home in Corinth following an attack of influenza.
He was well known and highly esteemed, leaving numerous acquaintances and friends to mourn with his relatives his demise.

Jones, James Hershell

James Hershell Jones, 79, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2007, at Cornerstone Health and Rehab. He was a member of Christian Church in Guys, TN and a US Army veteran of the Korean and Vietnam War with 25 years of service. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents, William Dee Jones and Tiny Frances Rink Jones; brothers, Estel Jones and Warren Jones; sister, Pearl Jones Davis. He is survived by his wife, Betty Irene Jones of Corinth, MS; step-son, Ricky McDonald and wife Jo Anne of Corinth, MS.; step-daughters; Carolyn Hardin and husband Neal, Brenda Worley and husband Michael, and Kim McDonald all of Corinth, MS.; 9 step-grandchildren; 12 step great-grandchildren. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were on Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with Bro. Craig Wilbanks officiating. Pallbearers were Tracy McDonald, Kevin McDonald, Jonathan Hardin, Eric Parker, David Hurst, Jonathan Davis, and Charles Davis. Burial followed at Corinth National Cemetery w/Military Honors.
